Angelina Jolie has helped her four-year-old daughter secure her first major film role.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will make her film debut alongside her mother in Maleficent, a reworking of the classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty.

The toddler is set to play the part of Princess Aurora, who is Jolie's on-screen daughter, after the Hollywood actress reportedly persuaded producers to sign up her up.

A source told the Sun: "Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural.

The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles."

Mother-of-six Jolie reportedly plays the lead character in the fairytale spin-off movie about the Sleeping Beauty sorceress.

Other cast members include Elle Fanning, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton, Lesley Manville and Sharlto Copley.

Maleficent is scheduled for release in March 2014.

Angelina made it clear to Ann that no one from the current TODAY Show cast would get an interview with Angelina or Brad, and with rumors of an upcoming wedding for the couple, NBC will lose any interviews with the actors in the future if Ann isn't allowed to do it."

This isn't exactly sunny news for the morning program which got beat in the ratings again last week despite a bump from Olympics coverage.

Rumours have been circulating that the Hollywood star was planning to marry her fiancé Brad Pitt at their estate in France this month.

However, the nuptials have failed to materialise and now the couple have been spotted in Greece.

Brad Pitt may have some last minute pleading to do to soon-to-be bride Angelina Jolie.

The actor reportedly got himself into trouble with his partner after going on a pre-wedding drinking binge with Guy Ritchie, 43, at his London pub, The Punchbowl.

Apparently Brad, 48, staggered home drunk to his rented mansion in Richmond at 6am.

Sources told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Brad spent the evening boozing with Guy and other pals in Guy's pub.

''Ange was shocked he came home in such a state, especially as he hadn't called her. She said she hadn't seen him like that in years. Brad blamed it all on British beer.''

The star got a bit too relaxed as he tried out various types of the alcoholic drink.

The insider continued: ''The group spent the night in the back room of the pub drinking real ales such as Bombardier and Spitfire.

''Brad sampled a few different beers and things got a bit rowdy. It was a rare chance for him to let his hair down.''

BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie won’t be marrying this weekend — People magazine insists.

Sources tell the publication that, despite speculation that started when an an unnamed source told British newspaper The Sun that Brad and Angie are hosting some kind of event at their château, the wedding won’t be taking place just yet.

The local newspaper Var Matin also shot down a France 3 TV report of a Saturday wedding. And officials in the village say they don’t know anything about it and that it likely couldn’t happen anyway.

“Under French law couples have to get married at the town hall,” Patrick Mareschi, deputy culture secretary of the nearby village of Correns, told Reuters. “Unlike with a religious wedding, there’s no way a couple can hold a civil ceremony at their own home.”

Photo agency X17 found out the hard way when they sent a papparazo to France.

“We sent an X17 photographer all the way down to the south of France – it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere – to check out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s chateau Miraval to see just what’s going on and … drumroll, please … there’s NOTHING going on!” the site says.

Brad, 48, recently bought Angelina, 37, a $500,000 watch as a pre-wedding gift.

Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Brad and Angelina have been named as victims of phone hacking allegedly carried out by journalists at the News of the World.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper says two members of staff at the paper — which was closed down last year — conspired to intercept the voicemail messages of Eunice Huthart, an associate of Pitt and Jolie, and other unnamed people connected to the actors.

Huthart is a former stunt double for Jolie and participant in the Gladiators game show.

The actors’ names emerged as prosecutors announced charges against eight people, including Andy Coulson, the former director of communications for the British prime minister, David Cameron, and Rebekah Brooks, the former chief executive of News International.

On Monday, police said they believed there were 4,775 potential victims of phone hacking, of whom 2,615 had been notified.
